music sync licensing companies, compared.

Studio Raine publishes this page and does not pitch sync, so it is on the page only for the part it does build: the catalog and its licensing page on the owner's own domain. the others are the agents, libraries and distributor add-ons a label, publisher or producer is offered for sync, each read from its own pages.

every row is read from the company's own pages on November 4, 2026, linked, and paraphrased; commission lines are quoted as printed. no scores and no ranking: the companies are sorted by model, then alphabetically.

questions.

who gets my catalog placed in TV, film and ads, and what commission do sync agents take?

the commissions printed on the companies' own pages: Crucial Music sends you 50% of the upfront fee on placements it secures; Audiosocket's non-exclusive deal is 25/75 and its exclusive deal 50/50; TuneCore's sync commission is 50% of the licence fee; Sentric is 50/50 on a publishing placement it procured and 85/15 in your favour on one it did not. Secret Road, Zync and Position Music print no figure and two of them take no unsolicited submissions. each row links the page it was read from.

exclusive or non-exclusive?

it is on the company's page. Crucial Music's grant is non-exclusive by its own wording. Audiosocket offers both at different splits. Epidemic Sound buys tracks outright and owns them. Secret Road, Zync and Position Music do not state it on the pages read, so ask before signing.

can an independent label or producer submit directly?

to Crucial Music (up to three songs), Audiosocket (four originals) and Marmoset (one week a month): yes, from their pages. Musicbed and Position Music take submissions by email. Secret Road and Zync say they take none unsolicited. Epidemic Sound and Artlist say they are not accepting new artists on the day read.

does Studio Raine pitch sync?

no. we do not represent catalogs or pitch supervisors. what we build is the catalog a supervisor lands on: the storefront and licensing page on your own domain, every work with its credits and a licence that can be bought without an email, with the press record on the same domain and the AI answer about the catalog. a catalog store is from $50,000, fixed in a written scope.

what should a catalog owner ask a sync company before signing?

whether the grant is exclusive, and for how long, with the renewal terms in writing. the split on the upfront fee and on the performance royalties separately, because one company on this page takes the publisher's share of the second. whether you can see every licence issued. and where the catalog lives online while they pitch it, since a work a supervisor cannot find and hear on a page you own is a work that waits for the agent's email.

why is this list not ranked?

because the publisher of a list should not grade a category it has an interest in, and because every figure here is the company's own, read from its page on one day. the rows carry what each page says and link it; the order is by model, then the alphabet.
